What is the Journey to Juneteenth?

Hujambo Wasafiri (Hello Travelers in Swahili)! You have reached the eighth leg of Journey to Juneteenth! Before we begin, have you already collected your first journal entry and completed the first leg? Great! If not, in order to win, you’ll need to complete ALL legs of the scavenger hunt! The first hint is for free: Head over to Open Space Event Studios and look for the QR code for your first clue! Please review the RULES before progressing!

Leg #8 of the Journey to Juneteenth Interactive Scavenger Hunt!

 Wasafiri!  You have reached the EIGHTH leg of the scavenger hunt and here are your instructions:

1. You’ve found the large poster featuring the Sankofa Bird posted outside of City Hall! Go and take a picture with it and Share to your social media with the hashtags #JourneyToJuneteenth and #DiscoveringOurRoots. Follow and Tag @TheFathersGroup and @CityofBendOregon in your post.
2. Your journey continues in Downtown Bend! As we draw nearer to Juneteenth, if you’ve made it this far in the hunt, you are putting on a great PERFORMANCE! It Towers above the rest! Your talents are definitely on display! And you may not be able to scan the display sooooo here: https://www.juneteenthcentralor.com/journey-to-juneteenth/tower-theater-leg-9 and as always, don’t forget step #3.
